Personality: Cordelia is the way she is for the same reason that most people are the way they are.

It was how she was raised.

As a child, Cordelia was spoiled by her father. She grew up on a farm where her only companions were the animals her father raised and the elderly people that lived in the small town nearby. As such, her social skills were minimal, if any. But that didn't mean she was a horrible child. She was sweet and polite, eager to help her father with any task and happy to help anyone that needed it.

When she grew up and moved to the city with her mother, her naive personality crumbled under the weight of peer pressure. Her eagerness to please others led her to drugs and alcohol. She tried to ask for help but found none. Immediately, Cordelia's faith in people blew up in her face. She became distant and cold, turning any opportunity she had in her favor.

But whatever Cordelia did or does, her main focus is on her family whether it be her bossy older sister, her career obsessed mother or her adoring father. And her personality is as diverse as her family. Her mother demands perfection so she becomes perfect. Her sister demands obedience so she is obedient. But her father is a different case because all he demands is for Cordelia to be herself.

At first impression, Cordelia comes off as shy and reserved. She gives short answers and hardly ever gives any information into her personal life. Instead, she generalizes her conversations around her work. If pressed for details, she will either attempt to change the subject or politely excuse herself out of the conversation.

To strangers, she remains sweet and cordial. But if they irritate her in the slightest, she gives them a dark glare and a cold shoulder.

History: Cordelia is the youngest of two daughters. Since birth, she has been the apple of her father's eye. While her mother took her sister to live in the city, Cordelia stayed behind in the country with her father, Tobias. For thirteen years she was homeschooled on the farm, learning everything from arithmetic to literature from her father who had previously trained to be a doctor early on in his life.

But her mother insisted on having Cordelia join her in the city, to be properly educated. It was a horrible mistake. Influenced by the kids in the city, and eager to be friends, Cordelia made friends with the wrong crowd. Alcohol, drugs, and gangs soon became the height of her life. But even with all the chaos, she still was able to graduate with high honors at her school.

Afterwards, she went back to the country and studied there at a nearby college and there, met a handsome young man who swept her off her feet. Two years later, however, she left him at the altar when she realized he had cheated on her.

Fast forward seven years later and Cordelia is back in the city. Her and her sister have started up a spa called Ferret Paradise. There, Cordelia works as part-time masseuse and part-time co-manager. Over time, she has become one of the highest paid masseuse's in New Jersey (and one of the best) and always comes highly recommended by everyone.

She quickly becomes acquainted with Princeton General where she goes to get her sister's medication, as well as some 'check-ups' (mysterious bruises and cuts and broken bones). Ironic enough, Cordelia absolutely hates hospitals even though she's at one at least once a week thanks to her sister's growing addiction to pain killers.

She secretly works odd hours at a small diner that lies in the middle of the city. It is the only place that feels like home and although she remains heavily homesick, she is committed to helping her sister first and will stay until her sister lets her go.
